Rabbit Hole Report — Tech stacks

The recent focus tech-stack and team chemistry for complex timeboxed MVPs while aiming for a simple developer experience I can communicate to a 7-year-old or a group of designers who need a lesson in developer experience.

Needless to say, I wanted to quickly go deep and come up from this hole before it consumed me.

• Svelte is it. I can say this after using react since its infancy¹ almost a decade ago and 1hr of svelte.

• Firebase needs automations and no-code options or just consume n8n.

• Airtable and Framer need to have a serious conversation.

• Universities need to teach Rust and NVIM² to all freshmen to save us from Oracle.

This is a four-bullet summary of 430 bullets.

1. I started using it the moment it came out and thought. It was a good idea to put it in production in a lovely mission-critical environment.

2. Neovide > NeoVim > Vim > moving at light speed with vscode
